Hi, I'm Shannon Hood and I am the owner/operator of CALLIE K CUPCAKES. I am a mother to two wonderful daughters and a wife to Jon. I love spending time with family and friends and I am known for being the one to turn to for cupcakes and cakes for celebrations. When I am not baking or spending time with family and friends, I can be found at the curling rink, crafting or dreaming of my next trip to Disney!

I bake out of a Commercial Kitchen at 3312 Roblin Blvd. in Winnipeg and I am Food Safety Certified. You can find me at the St. Norbert Market most Saturday's year round and we can arrange pick ups at the commercial space too. I have baked for family and friends for years and after much time, effort and practice, I am launching my custom baking business for online orders!!
I grew up in a small Manitoba town and watched the women in my family cook and bake. In my late teens I was diagnosed as lactose intolerant, which is why I began baking. It started out as a necessity, as I wanted to indulge in delicious treats, which were hard to come by, and it grew into a passion.

I have taken online classes and I have practiced a lot of baking over the years. I am excited to share my passion and creations with all of you. I am also happy to offer some allergy friendly options too, for those who have been longing for delectable treats, but haven't been able to find them because of their dietary limitations.
