Frequently Asked
Questions
You have questions, we have answers.
Here are the top 10 FAQ!
1
How do I order?
We do not have a typical storefront at this time for you to walk in and browse the case, therefore to order, simply click the menu/order page and there you will see available dates and the items that we offer. You will choose a date for pick up and place the items in your cart and proceed.
At this time orders are fulfilled Wednesdays-Saturdays with pick ups being from 4-8 pm at our commercial space. We ask that orders be placed 4 days-1 week in advance, but some weeks may be fuller than others and the order system will be closed for those dates, so feel free to contact and book earlier so that you don't miss out.
2
How do I pay?
Once an order is received, it is reviewed to ensure that it is something that we make and that we are available. After that you will receive an invoice via email (check your junk mail too, invoices are sent out within 24 hours). The invoice will list all of the details about your order, including instructions on how to etranster us. The click to pay button is not set up, so you will have to enter the email address provided in your banking app to do the etransfer. All of these details are listed on your invoice, be sure to read it all, as you are responsible to etransfer by the date listed or your order will be canceled. All orders are pre-paid, as we are a bake to order bakery, therefore, each order is a custom order and it makes for an easy pick up, as you will pick up at the restaurant we also own and I, the baker, am not always there for handoff.
Credit Card payments are available via request.
3
Where and when do I pick up my order?
The address will be listed on your invoice. We are located in the restaurant that we also own - The White House - at 3312 Roblin Blvd. in Winnipeg, MB.
All orders must be pre-ordered and you will select a date, on that date your pick up window will be from 4-8 pm regardless of what you chose for the pick up time. So if you aren't on time, know that this window is available, unless you are advised otherwise.
4
Are you nut free?
Callie K Cupcakes and The White House Restaurant share the commercial kitchen, which is a fully peanut and tree nut free kitchen. We do not bring in any ingredients that list nuts in the ingredients or if they list that they are made in a facility that also produces items with nuts. Our employees do not bring nut items into the kitchen either.
5
Do you deal with allergies and dietary needs?
We offer many allergy friendly options, as well as items suitable for certain dietary needs. Learn more on our allergy info page.
A quick overview of items we offer: peanut and tree nut free, gluten friendly, dairy free, egg free & vegan.
Sorry, we do not offer: low sugar items, soy free items or corn free items.

Do I have to order a full dozen? Does it have to be one flavour? Can I get a mixed box?
Yes and yes and sort of a yes!!
We are a bake to order bakery at this time, which means that we do not keep stock nor do we have a storefront, so you are getting your order custom baked. We need a minimum of one dozen per flavour, as each flavour and filling is made just for you. Sorry, no split boxes for orders.
Should you wish for a mixed box, we are at markets with grab and go items, where we offer a case full of goodies for you to pick and choose from. This is also where you can buy singles, 6 packs and market exclusive items, like our pan-cakes, cup-o-cakes, edible cookie dough, stuffed cookies and more. The banner at the top of the website lists our market dates.
7
Do you make mini cupcakes?
No. I do not offer minis. Minis are just as much work as regular sized cupcakes and they don't make my heart sing, as I cannot stuff them with all the good stuff I love.
Just regular sized cupcakes, as you will see on the menu/order page.
8
Do you make cakes?
Yes. There is a cakes section on the menu/order page.
The cakes are not large cakes, as you will see, but they are perfect for small gatherings, cutting cakes, smash cakes, etc. They also pair great with cupcakes to accompany them for more variety for your guests.
Many of the cakes can also be made gf, df, vegan, etc. Browse the cakes page and then send an inquiry via the contact page about a cake you are thinking of ordering and let us know what allergen needs accommodated and we will see if we can make it happen!
9
Do you make themed cupcakes and cakes?
We do not offer themed/character cupcakes and cakes.
What we can offer are coordinating colours to your event. Toppers are something we also suggest; these can be researched by you, the client, via Etsy or Amazon or local makers, we can also do the research and provide options - this is an additional cost.
10
Can you do large events or weddings?
Yes. We are a fully health inspected commercial kitchen, which allows us to cater to events of all sizes. We do ask for more notice for larger events and the payment timeline will be different than a regular order. Some of this information is on the policies page.
